■Nano indentation testing
The ENT-NEXUS supports nano indentation (hardness) testing in accordance with ISO 14577-1/JIS Z2255.
・With a high-load unit, it is possible to test over a load range of 5µN to 2 N. Hardness testing of a wide variety of materials is supported, from metals to polymer materials.
・With the low-load unit, it is possible to measure over the range 0.5µN to 10mN. Even ultra-thin film of 100nm thickness or less can be tested.
■Surface force measurements
Adding the surface force measurement option to a low-load unit makes it possible to measure the surface force operating between two objects.

・Temperature control mechanism
In nano indentation testing , thermal drift due to temperature changes of the measurement equipment or sample can be a serious problem. To minimize the influence of thermal drift on measurements, the temperature inside the shielding case is controlled to 0.1 degree C. Furthermore, the stand and other main parts are made of materials of low thermal expandability of test results.
・High-performance anti-vibration table
The ENT-NEXUS is supplied standard with an active-control, high-performance anti-vibration table. Vibrations, which can become a source of noise, are cancelled, enabling stable measurements even in environments with many vibrations.
ENT-NEXUS utilizes Windows-based software that is designed for ease-of-use. Just specify your test conditions to perform fully automatic measurements. Even beginners will find the system easy to operate, without any fear of human errors. the software also features powerful analysis functions, and is highly flexible, with functions to address your every need.
